NEXUS DTF POLICIES & TERMS

Last Updated: August 18, 2026

Thank you for choosing NEXUS DTF. Our goal is to provide quality DTF and UV DTF equipment, supplies, training, and support while maintaining clear expectations for every customer.

By purchasing equipment, supplies, accessories, software, services, or participating in a NEXUS DTF payment or layaway program, you acknowledge and agree to the applicable policies listed below.

Please review these policies carefully before completing your purchase.

1. ORDER POLICY

Customers are responsible for reviewing all product descriptions, specifications, measurements, bundle contents, compatibility information, and pricing before completing an order.

Submitting an order confirms that the customer has reviewed and accepted the product information and applicable NEXUS DTF policies.

Orders may include:

  • DTF printers
  • UV DTF printers
  • Powder shakers
  • Curing ovens
  • DTF supplies
  • UV DTF supplies
  • Replacement parts
  • Accessories
  • Software
  • Training or support services
  • Product bundles

Product images are provided for reference. Minor cosmetic differences may occur between production runs without affecting the intended operation of the equipment.

NEXUS DTF reserves the right to correct pricing errors, product description errors, inventory errors, or other website inaccuracies.

2. PAYMENT POLICY

Full payment must be received before products purchased through a standard checkout are released for shipment unless the customer is participating in an approved NEXUS DTF payment or layaway program.

Available payment methods may vary depending on the product and checkout method.

Orders may be processed through platforms including Shopify, Partial.ly, or approved third-party financing/payment providers.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that billing information is accurate.

Payments that are declined, reversed, disputed, or otherwise unsuccessful may delay order processing or shipment.

3. NEXUS DTF LAYAWAY PROGRAM POLICY

The NEXUS DTF Layaway Program allows eligible customers to secure equipment and make payments toward their purchase over time.

Retainer Fee

A non-refundable retainer fee may be required to establish a layaway account.

The retainer:

  • Reserves participation in the program.
  • Is credited toward the customer's equipment purchase.
  • May lock in a promotional or agreed purchase price when specifically stated.
  • Is non-refundable if the customer voluntarily cancels or abandons the program.

The amount of the retainer may vary depending on the promotion, product, or enrollment period.

Layaway Payments

Customers may make payments toward their balance according to their Partial.ly plan or other approved payment arrangement.

Customers are encouraged to make consistent payments even when there is no fixed payoff deadline.

Small payments made consistently can help maintain an active account and move the customer closer to delivery.

Account Activity

Layaway accounts should remain active.

An account that goes approximately six months without a payment may be considered inactive and may require reactivation or review before participation can continue.

Promotional pricing, inventory availability, training access, or other program benefits may be affected if an account becomes inactive.

Equipment Shipment

Equipment purchased through layaway will not ship until the applicable balance has been paid in full unless NEXUS DTF provides written authorization for another arrangement.

Inventory is subject to availability at the time the customer's account reaches the required payoff amount.

Train While You Pay

Eligible active layaway customers may receive access to selected NEXUS DTF educational programs while completing payments.

Training access may include:

  • DTF education
  • Bootcamps
  • Business development training
  • Equipment education
  • Marketing education
  • Community resources

Training access is a benefit of maintaining an active account and may be suspended for inactive accounts.

4. LAYAWAY CANCELLATION POLICY

Customers may choose to stop participating in the layaway program; however, applicable retainer fees are non-refundable.

Additional payments made toward equipment will be handled according to the customer's individual payment agreement, Partial.ly terms, promotional terms, and applicable law.

Customers should contact NEXUS DTF before abandoning a payment plan so available options can be reviewed.

A customer should not assume that simply stopping automatic payments automatically cancels all contractual obligations associated with an active payment agreement.

5. SHIPPING POLICY

NEXUS DTF ships equipment and supplies from one or more fulfillment locations.

Some products may ship directly from our warehouse, manufacturer, fulfillment partner, or authorized distribution location.

Because products may originate from different locations, items purchased together may arrive in separate shipments.

Carriers may include:

  • UPS
  • FedEx
  • USPS
  • Freight carriers
  • Other approved shipping providers

Carrier selection may vary according to package size, weight, destination, service availability, product type, and shipping cost.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, carrier transit times are outside the direct control of NEXUS DTF.

Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed unless specifically stated by the carrier.

6. SHIPPING ADDRESS POLICY

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Before submitting an order, verify:

  • Recipient name
  • Business name, when applicable
  • Street address
  • Apartment or suite number
  • City
  • State
  • ZIP code
  • Telephone number

Large equipment may require additional delivery coordination.

If an incorrect address results in rerouting fees, return shipping charges, storage fees, reshipment charges, or other carrier expenses, those costs may become the responsibility of the customer.

Contact NEXUS DTF immediately if an address correction is needed.

Address changes cannot always be completed after an order has entered fulfillment.

7. DELIVERY & PACKAGE INSPECTION POLICY

Customers should inspect all packages immediately upon delivery.

Before discarding packaging materials:

  1. Inspect the shipping carton for visible damage.
  2. Photograph damaged areas of the box.
  3. Photograph the shipping label.
  4. Carefully unpack the equipment.
  5. Photograph any equipment damage.
  6. Confirm that the primary components are included.
  7. Save all original packaging until the equipment has been inspected and tested.

Original packaging is especially important for equipment because it may be required if transportation, warranty evaluation, or replacement becomes necessary.

8. SHIPPING DAMAGE CLAIM POLICY

Any damage believed to have occurred during shipping should be reported to NEXUS DTF as soon as possible.

Shipping damage claims must generally be submitted within 14 days of delivery.

Customers may be asked to provide:

  • Order number
  • Customer name
  • Delivery date
  • Photographs of the shipping carton
  • Photographs of shipping labels
  • Photographs or videos showing the damage
  • Photographs of internal protective packaging
  • Description of the issue

Do not discard the box, crate, foam, pallet, or internal packaging while a shipping claim is being investigated.

Failure to preserve packaging or provide requested documentation may affect our ability to submit a successful carrier claim.

9. RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

Due to the commercial nature of printing equipment, opened equipment, used equipment, ink-loaded equipment, software, consumable products, and customized or specially ordered products may have return restrictions.

General Return Window

Return requests must generally be made within 7 days of delivery.

Authorization must be received from NEXUS DTF before returning equipment or products.

Sending an item back without authorization does not guarantee acceptance or a refund.

Non-Returnable Items

Unless required by law or expressly approved by NEXUS DTF, the following may be non-returnable:

  • Equipment that has been used
  • Printers that have been loaded with ink
  • Opened ink
  • Opened adhesive powder
  • Used or opened film
  • Cleaning solution
  • Printhead moisturizer
  • Installed replacement parts
  • Printheads
  • Downloaded software
  • Activated software licenses
  • Training services
  • Digital products
  • Custom orders
  • Special-order equipment
  • Products damaged by customer misuse

Any approved return must be returned in the condition required by NEXUS DTF and may require original packaging.

Shipping and handling charges may be non-refundable.

10. EQUIPMENT SETUP POLICY

Customers should begin the equipment setup and inspection process promptly after delivery.

We strongly recommend that equipment be unpacked, installed, and tested within 10 days of delivery.

Waiting an extended period before setting up equipment can make it more difficult to determine whether an issue originated during shipping, manufacturing, installation, storage, or operation.

Customers should not leave equipment unopened for extended periods after delivery.

If assistance is available through NEXUS DTF, customers are encouraged to schedule setup support promptly.

11. WARRANTY POLICY

Eligible NEXUS DTF equipment generally includes a 1-Year Limited Warranty against qualifying factory defects, unless a different warranty is specifically listed for the product.

The warranty is designed to address qualifying manufacturing defects and is not an unlimited replacement guarantee.

Warranty eligibility may require troubleshooting and documentation before replacement parts or other remedies are approved.

Warranty May Cover

Depending on the equipment and diagnosis, warranty coverage may apply to qualifying factory defects involving eligible components.

NEXUS DTF or the manufacturer may require:

  • Photos
  • Videos
  • Error codes
  • Test prints
  • Maintenance records
  • Remote troubleshooting
  • Software diagnostics
  • Part inspection

A replacement part may be provided when troubleshooting reasonably establishes that an eligible component has failed because of a covered manufacturing defect.

12. PRINTHEAD & MOTHERBOARD WARRANTY POLICY

Printheads and certain sensitive electronic components, including motherboards, may have limited or excluded warranty coverage because they can be damaged by maintenance issues, electrical conditions, fluid exposure, ink problems, improper operation, or installation errors.

Printheads and motherboards are generally excluded from the standard warranty unless they are determined to be defective on arrival (DOA) or otherwise specifically covered in writing.

Customers should test equipment promptly after delivery to ensure that any potential DOA issue can be identified quickly.

13. WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Warranty coverage does not apply to problems caused by conditions outside of a qualifying factory defect.

Examples may include:

  • Improper maintenance
  • Failure to perform routine maintenance
  • Printhead clogs
  • Dried ink
  • Incorrect cleaning procedures
  • Improper shutdown procedures
  • Physical damage
  • Drops or impacts
  • Liquid damage
  • Power surges
  • Improper electrical connections
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Improper part installation
  • Incorrect software configuration
  • Customer misuse
  • Neglect
  • Environmental contamination
  • Excessive dust
  • Improper temperature or humidity
  • Long periods of inactivity
  • Unauthorized repair attempts
  • Incompatible ink
  • Incompatible film
  • Incompatible powder
  • Incompatible cleaning products

Normal wear items and consumable components may also be excluded.

14. NEXUS SUPPLY USE POLICY

Your printer is an investment in your business, and the supplies used inside and around the equipment directly affect performance.

NEXUS DTF equipment is tested using supplies that have been selected for compatibility with our equipment and recommended operating procedures.

Customers should use approved NEXUS DTF supplies whenever applicable.

These may include:

  • DTF ink
  • UV DTF ink
  • PET film
  • Adhesive powder
  • Cleaning solution
  • Printhead moisturizer
  • Approved replacement components

15. THIRD-PARTY / OFF-BRAND SUPPLY POLICY

Using inexpensive, incompatible, unknown, or unauthorized supplies can cause problems that may appear to be equipment failures.

For example:

Off-brand ink may cause:

  • Printhead clogs
  • Ink separation
  • Poor color output
  • Incorrect viscosity
  • Inconsistent white ink circulation
  • Sediment buildup
  • Damper problems
  • Ink line restrictions

Low-quality or incompatible film may cause:

  • Feeding problems
  • Static
  • Poor ink acceptance
  • Poor powder adhesion
  • Poor release
  • Transfer defects

Low-quality or incompatible powder may cause:

  • Poor adhesion
  • Excessive residue
  • Uneven curing
  • Transfer failures
  • Contamination inside the equipment

Problems determined to have resulted from unauthorized or incompatible consumables may not qualify as warranty defects.

16. CHANGING INK OR SUPPLY BRANDS

Customers should not mix different ink brands or formulas inside the printer.

Different manufacturers may use different:

  • Pigments
  • Carrier fluids
  • Binders
  • Viscosities
  • Chemical formulations
  • White ink suspension systems

Mixing formulas can create reactions, separation, sediment, clogging, or inconsistent printing.

If another ink brand has already been placed inside a NEXUS DTF printer, contact NEXUS DTF before adding additional products.

A complete ink-system flush may be recommended before switching formulations.

17. WHITE INK MAINTENANCE POLICY

White DTF ink contains pigment that naturally settles and requires more maintenance than CMYK inks.

Depending on the equipment, proper maintenance may include:

  • White ink circulation
  • White ink agitation
  • Routine printing
  • Nozzle checks
  • Scheduled cleaning
  • Preventing the printer from sitting unused for extended periods

Customers are responsible for following the maintenance procedures provided for their equipment.

A clogged printhead caused by dried, settled, contaminated, or improperly maintained ink is generally considered a maintenance-related issue rather than a factory defect.

18. MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY POLICY

DTF and UV DTF printers are commercial printing systems that require routine maintenance.

Owning a printer requires more than simply sending print jobs.

Customers are responsible for learning and following:

  • Daily maintenance
  • Weekly maintenance
  • Shutdown procedures
  • Startup procedures
  • Ink management
  • Cleaning procedures
  • Environmental recommendations
  • Nozzle-check procedures
  • Proper storage procedures

Failure to maintain equipment may cause premature component failure and may affect warranty eligibility.

19. TECHNICAL SUPPORT POLICY

NEXUS DTF provides technical guidance and troubleshooting resources for eligible customers.

Technical support may include:

  • Setup assistance
  • Software guidance
  • Printer troubleshooting
  • Maintenance education
  • Video instructions
  • Remote troubleshooting
  • Community support
  • Training resources

Technical support does not automatically mean that every issue is covered under warranty.

Troubleshooting must first determine whether the problem is related to:

  • Equipment
  • Software
  • Computer configuration
  • Maintenance
  • Supplies
  • User settings
  • Artwork
  • Workflow
  • Environmental conditions
  • Network or USB communication

Customers are expected to reasonably participate in requested troubleshooting before a warranty determination can be made.

20. REMOTE SUPPORT POLICY

When remote computer assistance is required, customers may be asked to install approved remote-support software.

Customers remain responsible for:

  • Protecting personal data
  • Closing confidential files
  • Securing passwords
  • Maintaining computer backups
  • Ensuring internet access

Remote support is intended only to assist with the applicable NEXUS DTF equipment, RIP software, or related workflow.

21. SOFTWARE & RIP POLICY

Some equipment packages include RIP software or software setup assistance.

Software requirements vary by printer model and computer configuration.

Customers are responsible for maintaining a compatible computer that meets the requirements of the software and equipment.

Third-party operating system updates, antivirus programs, security settings, computer hardware problems, or software changes may occasionally affect communication between the computer, RIP software, and printer.

Software licenses, activation codes, or digital products may be non-refundable after delivery or activation.

22. TRAINING POLICY

Training may be included with certain equipment packages, layaway programs, promotions, memberships, or educational programs.

Training may include:

  • Printer operation
  • Maintenance
  • DTF fundamentals
  • UV DTF fundamentals
  • Workflow
  • Artwork preparation
  • Production
  • Business development
  • Pricing
  • Marketing

Training availability, format, schedule, and eligibility may vary.

Training does not replace the customer's responsibility to read instructions, follow maintenance procedures, practice operating the equipment, and maintain safe working conditions.

23. PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS & MEASUREMENTS

Measurements displayed on the NEXUS DTF website are generally approximate unless specifically identified as exact manufacturer specifications.

Dimensions and weights may vary slightly between production batches.

Customers purchasing:

  • Tables
  • Cabinets
  • Shelving
  • Workbenches
  • Shipping containers
  • Electrical equipment
  • Ventilation systems

should allow reasonable additional clearance around their equipment.

Customers are responsible for confirming that their workspace can accommodate the equipment before purchase and delivery.

24. ELECTRICAL & WORKSPACE REQUIREMENTS

Customers are responsible for providing an appropriate installation location for their equipment.

Depending on the product, this may include:

  • Proper electrical service
  • Surge protection
  • Adequate ventilation
  • Stable work surfaces
  • Appropriate room temperature
  • Appropriate humidity
  • Adequate working clearance
  • Internet connection
  • Compatible computer equipment

Electrical modifications should be performed by a qualified professional when necessary.

NEXUS DTF is not responsible for property damage or equipment damage caused by inadequate electrical service, improper installation, power surges, extension cords, overloaded circuits, or unauthorized electrical modifications.

25. CUSTOMER-CREATED PRODUCTS & PRINT RESULTS

Print results can be affected by multiple variables, including:

  • Artwork quality
  • Color profiles
  • RIP settings
  • Ink
  • Film
  • Powder
  • Press settings
  • Temperature
  • Pressure
  • Time
  • Garment material
  • Maintenance
  • Environmental conditions

NEXUS DTF cannot guarantee identical results across every garment, substrate, transfer, artwork file, heat press, or production environment.

Testing is recommended before producing large customer orders.

26. BUSINESS RESULTS DISCLAIMER

  • Payment processors
  • Financing providers
  • Shipping carriers
  • RIP software providers
  • Remote-support software

NEXUS DTF is not responsible for outages, policy changes, account decisions, processing delays, financing decisions, or service interruptions caused by third-party companies.

Contact NEXUS DTF immediately if you need to request an order cancellation.

Once an order has:

  • Entered fulfillment
  • Been prepared for shipment
  • Been transferred to a warehouse
  • Been specially ordered
  • Been customized
  • Shipped

it may no longer qualify for cancellation.

Layaway cancellations are governed separately by the NEXUS DTF Layaway Program Policy.

29. CHARGEBACK & PAYMENT DISPUTE POLICY

Customers should contact NEXUS DTF directly if there is a problem with an order or payment.

We want the opportunity to review the situation and attempt to resolve legitimate concerns.

Submitting a chargeback does not automatically cancel a valid order, payment agreement, or contractual obligation.

NEXUS DTF reserves the right to provide payment processors, banks, or financial institutions with applicable transaction records, tracking information, customer communications, signed agreements, website policies, delivery confirmation, and other relevant documentation when responding to a payment dispute.

30. FRAUD PREVENTION

For customer and company protection, some transactions may require additional verification before fulfillment.

NEXUS DTF may request verification of:

  • Customer identity
  • Billing information
  • Shipping information
  • Payment authorization

Orders that cannot be reasonably verified may be delayed or canceled.

31. PROMOTIONAL PRICING POLICY

Sales, promotions, discount codes, bundle pricing, layaway offers, and special incentives are valid only during the advertised promotional period.

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

  • Promotions cannot be combined.
  • Expired promotions cannot be retroactively applied.
  • Previous purchases do not automatically qualify for later promotions.
  • Promotional inventory may be limited.
  • Promotional terms may vary by product.

Prices are subject to change.

32. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Equipment availability can change because of:

  • Inventory levels
  • Manufacturing schedules
  • Port or customs delays
  • Freight delays
  • Carrier interruptions
  • Supplier availability
  • Production changes
  • Unexpected global transportation events

NEXUS DTF will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays affecting customer orders.

33. SAFETY POLICY

Customers are responsible for operating printing equipment, curing equipment, powders, inks, cleaning solutions, and related products safely.

Always:

  • Follow manufacturer instructions.
  • Maintain proper ventilation.
  • Store chemicals appropriately.
  • Keep products away from children and pets.
  • Use appropriate protective equipment when recommended.
  • Follow workplace and fire-safety requirements.

Customers operating commercial equipment are responsible for ensuring that their workspace complies with applicable local requirements.

34. POLICY VIOLATIONS

NEXUS DTF reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service when a customer engages in:

  • Fraud
  • Threats
  • Harassment
  • Abuse toward staff
  • Intentional misuse of company systems
  • Fraudulent payment disputes
  • Repeated violation of purchase agreements
  • Attempts to obtain unauthorized warranty replacements
  • Other unlawful activity

This provision does not limit any rights available to customers under applicable law.

35. POLICY UPDATES

NEXUS DTF may update these policies as the company, products, programs, shipping procedures, and services evolve.

The version of a policy applicable to a transaction may depend on the terms presented at the time the purchase or agreement was completed.

Material updates will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.

36. CONTACT NEXUS DTF

We encourage customers to contact us with questions before purchasing, changing supplies, attempting major repairs, or making modifications to equipment.

It is always better to ask a question before taking an action that could damage your investment.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

DTF and UV DTF printers are commercial production equipment that require routine maintenance, proper supplies, appropriate environmental conditions, and customer participation.

Many issues that appear to be equipment failures can actually originate from maintenance, software configuration, artwork, incompatible supplies, improper operation, or environmental conditions.

Our goal is not simply to sell you a printer. We want to help you protect your investment, understand your equipment, and build a productive printing operation.
